One of the many variants that come from the world famous Golden Corn lineage from Taniguchi Koi farm. The original conception of the yellow, gin rin version of this variety caused a lot of controversy, needless to say it wasn't a variety for the purists, with many saying it was a fluke and it could not be replicated.
Fast forward several years and I think even the biggest sceptic will admit that the farm has the ability to replicate this time and time again. From the tweaked parent set you now get quote a few variations from the spawning such as Aka Matsuba, Ki Matsuba, Asagi, Ki Asagi, the yellow type and all in Gin rin variations also. This particular piece has a great bosy line and then lateral line has deep, emerging Kanoko style Beni. Given the genetic blueprint these also attain great sizes with speed so they make a great Summer project.
Taniguchi
The farm is officially named Taniguchi Koi Farm and is located in the Hiroshima region. Specialising in Kohaku, the farm is known for cultivating Koi with outstanding body structure. The quality of their Kohaku and Sanke has been demonstrated through numerous award-winning Koi. The farm offers several varieties, including Kohaku, Sanke, Showa, Goshiki, Asagi, and the famous Golden Corn variety, which is unique to the farm.
